*  Bar Staff and Waiters:  Full training provided – previous experience useful but not essential.
*  Bingo Caller:  You will have other jobs to do, but a cheerful disposition is needed.
*  Cabin Steward:  No experience necessary and full training provided.
*  Casino Staff:  Training provided, but experience in dealing with the public might be useful. *  Cocktail waiter/waitress:  No experience needed and full training provided.
*  Cruise Staff (general): All you need are good people skills.
*  Gift Shop Staff:  Experience in the retail industry or customer service.
*  I.T. Manager: internet experience needed.
*  Photographer and Videographer:  Interest in photography essential, but full training is given.
*  Receptionist:  Administration and organizing skills required.
*  Social Host: Expected to have good social skills and good a public speaking.
*  Tour Guides:  Good communication skills and ability to get on with others.

If you feel that this type of life would suit you then go for it there are many more types of work on cruise ships that you can apply for without previous experience – either of the job or <a href=”www.cruiseshipaccessclub.com “>working at sea</a>. The more chance you have of getting a job if you have a more applications you make.

Even if your qualifications are above that, you are advised to apply for every job you think you can do and to take any job offered. That will get you started on the cruise ship ladder and you can target jobs that are more suitable later. Your first job is not the time to be fussy or you might never be successful in finding work on cruise ships.
